Online users have long been used to managing their consent, from cookies to subscribing to services. Consent management tools, used by content creators, are gradually being deployed and contribute to create a culture that the persons in the image has consented to it. Are these tools paving the way to a consent-based culture, with all the benefits and constraints that come with the concept that everyone has the right to set their own boundaries?
