While the focus in addressing the dissemination of harmful content has been on the content itself, have we overlooked the person in the picture? Shall we actually care about the human being who is represented, whether the image is real or faked? From Child Sexual Abuse Material to Terrorist and Violent Extremist Content (TVEC), and notwithstanding all the variations of abuse from Image Based Sexual Violence, this session will discuss the merits of adopting a victim-centered approach in the removal of harmful and illegal content.
