P02 INCYBER Zero trust, the new paradigm
Imagine a world where trust is never granted a priori or by default, where trust becomes explicit, pro- ven, where every person, every data flow, every device is authenticated and frequently monitored. This is the promise of zero trust, a concept introduced in 2010 by John Kindervag of Forrester Research. Beyond the marketing buzz, what is the operational reality of this new model in organizations and in our daily lives? Does the absence of trust in our digital practices, or even systematic mistrust, truly help build “trust for all”? Is this the price to pay for a more secure digital world?
