Maintaining the security of industrial systems requires a proactive and integrated approach. This session will focus on advanced resilience strategies, such as behavioral attack detection and industrial network segmentation, to limit the spread of threats. We will address the specific challenges of OT environments, including detecting indicators of compromise (IOC) in heterogeneous systems and implementing sequential analysis models to correlate events. The integration of explainable artificial intelligence to differentiate anomalies from real attacks will also be explored. Finally, solutions for securing machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and remote access will be discussed, with a focus on encryption and access control, while adhering to regulatory standards such as ISO 27001 and the NIS2 directive. What strategies can ensure precise and real-time attack detection? How can behavioral detection technologies and sequential analysis approaches be integrated into industrial control systems while ensuring optimal security for M2M communications and remote access?
